Meet the Team
 James LovellDr. James Lovell has been in practice for over 25 years and is currently a Professor of Orthodontics at New York University in Manhattan. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and is also a member, and past president, of The Hartford Dental Society. Dr. Lovell strives to keep himself and his staff current on all of the latest developments in orthodontic technology. Dr. Lovell offers the most advanced treatment modalities available in orthodontics today. Dr. Lovell's Educational and Professional History:
Megan Lovell Dr. Megan Lovell graduated Cum Laude from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. (May 2001) She then completed two years of General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. (2001-2002, 2003-2004). During 2002-2003, she worked as a general dentist and helped put together an Orthodontic Resource Center for the New York University Orthodontic Department. Dr. Megan received her Certificate in Orthodontics from Montefiore in June 2007. The 36 month program included extensive training in combined orthodontic/orthognathic surgical care and craniofacial abnormalities. She joined Lovell Orthodontics in July 2007. She is a member of:
    Laurie has over 10 years of orthodontic experience but has shared her insight with us for over four years. When Laurie is not creating Lovell smiles, she is in front helping with the phones and appointments.Laurie and her husband Paul, happily married for over eight years, reside in Bristol with their two four-legged canines Brandi and Lily. When not working hard at Lovell Orthodontics, she enjoys scrapbooking, walking her “kids”, and cheering on the New York Giants. Laura kowzun - Office Manager, Certified Orthodontic Assistant - West Hartford  Laura has been with Lovell Orthodontics for over 11 years. She joined the Lovell Orthodontic team upon graduation from Tunxis Community College’s Dental Assisting program. Her daily duties can range from new patient exams and changing wires to answering the phones, and billing insurance companies.When not at work, Laura can be found cheering for the New York Yankees, New Britain Rock Cats, or participating in other interesting adventures. She enjoys reading, cooking, and hanging out with her two “four-legged kids” Peanut and Callie. Grace Glynn - Orthodontic Assistant - West Hartford  Grace has been with Lovell Orthodontics for over 6 years. She strives to provide an energetic and fun-loving service to each of our patients. She continues to stay up to date with the latest technologies in orthodontics by attending continuing education courses on a regular basis.Grace has been married for 14 years to her loving husband David and they share three beautiful children: Justin, Ashley and Nathan. |
